Residential Solicitor / Conveyancer (1+ PQE)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Residential Solicitor / Conveyancer to join our busy and friendly team at our offices in Palmers Green.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with at least 1 year PQE to manage their own caseload and further develop their career within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
  • Providing clear and practical advice to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
  • Conducting title investigations and reporting on title
  • Ensuring compliance with AML regulations and firm procedures
  • Managing exchange and completion processes efficiently
  • Dealing with post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Maintaining accurate records using the firm’s case management system

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 1 year PQE in residential conveyancing.
  • Proven experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and general IT skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach.
