Gregory was one of the founders of the firm in 1992 and has been fundamentally involved with the development of the practice since its inception. Under Gregory’s guidance the firm has established itself as a leading provider of legal services in the North London area. He is Head of the Private Client and Litigation Departments and is also actively involved with Sibel Kiazim in the management of the Residential Property Department.
Gregory has extensive experience in advising upon and preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney. He also has particular expertise in the administration of estates and the mitigation of inheritance tax liability. He is assisted in the department by Krishna Kotecha.
He is also an experienced litigator and particularly enjoys negotiating settlements in matrimonial and employment proceedings. He has been fundamentally involved with several interesting matrimonial cases including D v D [2001] 1 FLR 495 which remains the established legal precedent relating to the issue of shared residence.
Having been responsible for the development of the Residential Property Department, he is also a highly regarded property practitioner, and retains an advisory role within the department.

Andrew Stapleton is head of the Commercial Property Department. He has extensive experience working in both the private and public sectors and prior to setting up Stapletons was Head of Legal Services at a North London Borough Council.
Andrew has for many years specialised in property law, with a particular interest in commercial property matters and he also holds a Diploma in Local Government Law.

Sibel Kiazim joined the partnership in August 2007 having completed her training contract with the firm. She is Head of the Residential Property Department and is responsible for property transactions with a capital value in excess of £100 million per annum. She has a friendly and personable approach to her job and is a popular and well respected conveyancing practitioner. She is bilingual in Turkish and also has expertise in the following areas:

Krishna Kotecha Krishna joined the firm in February 2011 having studied law at the University of Hertfordshire and the Inns of Court School of Law in London. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and works in the firm’s Private Client Department . Krishna currently undertakes work in the following areas:

Cara Roberts
Assistant Solicitor Cara joined the firm in September 2011, to be the lead Solicitor in the Matrimonial Department. Having obtained a 2:1 Law Degree and worked in numerous different areas of the law, ranging from Personal Injury to Commercial Dispute Resolution and Sports and Media Law, Cara has specialised in all aspects of Family Law since 2008. Having acquired considerable expertise during that time Cara understands the sensitivity and complexity of the issues involved when a relationship breaks down, as well as striving to obtain the best possible outcome for her clients.
Cara’s work encompasses the following areas:
· Issuing divorce proceedings on all grounds
· Applying for Parental Responsibility Orders
· Working on behalf of both mothers and fathers to either restore contact or ensure contact progresses at a level all parties are comfortable with
· Undertaking high net worth Ancillary Relief matters representing both the Applicant and the Respondent
· Drafting and negotiation of Separation Agreements for cohabitees
· Obtaining Non-Molestation Orders within days of receiving instructions from the client
· Successful return of abducted children and the grant of Interim Residence Orders
· Positive declaration of parentage results before amending the child’s birth certificate in favour of the client

Brian West Brian joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in October 2010. Having completed his Law Degree at the University of Hertfordshire in 2004 Brian went on to study his LPC at the College of Law in London. Brian is also currently studying an Open Degree with courses in Film and Television History and Creative Writing at the Open University. Brian has previously worked as a Commercial Property Paralegal, gaining over five years experience in this area. Brian has experience and interest in the following areas:
Outside of the office Brian is a keen and competitive sportsman with a keen interest in; football, badminton, squash as well as running and he completed the 2009 London Marathon in 3 hours 47 minutes. Brian is also a keen amateur chef with a passion for creating his own recipes.
